    Usually, final semester college students who are in the midst of an uproar are looking for references to make papers, theses or others, which must be in accordance with or related to the theme raised in the paper. But, what happens if when doing a search in Goole that appears there are various references that are less specific or even not in accordance with the theme we raise. Therefore, here are 5 ways to make searching on Google easier and more specific.

1.       Munis sign ( - )

Minus signs are used to exclude the word you are looking for

 

2.       Quotation marks ( '' '' )

Use quotation marks if you want to search for the exact same sentence without changing sentence structure

 

3.      Tilde Sign ( ~ )

This mark is used to search for synonyms or related to the word being searched for

 

4.      Time Range ( XX.. XX )

Search within a certain time range, add two dots ( .. ) Among the words typed

 

5.      Filetype:

Use Filetype: to search for the file type according to the word you are looking for ( cotoh: word, pdf, excel )
